Mark and Aubrianna {Engaged}

I had the pleasure of meeting this lovely couple to take some engagement pictures recently.  We had a gorgeous Kansas sunshine day that was unseasonably warm for January.
We met at Andover Central Park and they brought along their two energetic and playful pups.  They are a down to earth couple that seems to truly enjoy eachother and have a fun, playful, relationship.
They are planning an October wedding, which is sure to be beautiful, based on the Pinterest ideas I have seen!  What did we ever do before Pinterest?!

Life Slows

The thing I love about snow the most, is how much life slows down when the snow falls.

We slow down to take in the beauty of the pureness and brightness around us.

The world is washed clean.

The simple things of this world are covered in glitter.

We cherish the warmth of home a little more.

Life. Slows. Down.

And I love it.

Reid is TWO!

I had the pleasure to take Reid's two year old pictures recently.  He is ALL boy!  Since I have three boys of my own, boys full of energy aren't intimidating to me.  I enjoy the life that is just pouring out of them! I have taken Reid's pictures since he was a baby and he has been so much FUN to watch grow!

Reid is on the GO!!

I love to watch his curiousity!

He was a great helper!

I tied a sucker to the balloon strings to try to get Reid to hold the balloons for this picture.  Right after this picture was taken, we watched his balloons drift up to the sky.  All he cared about was that sucker!

We talked about giving him a sucker when we were all done with pictures, so as soon as he got it, he sat down and opened it right up!

Of course, we had to stop and play for a few minutes before packing up to leave.

I love to watch, and photograph, parents and kids interacting.  You can feel the love and emotion wacthing his mom brush off the dirt from his hands.
